Two Car Seat Tips EVERY Parent Should Know!

Car seats are great for keeping your precious child safe. They are NOT, however, designed with the comfort of the person doing the carrying in mind. That being said, I think most parents would agree that the safety of their child comes WAY before their comfort, but what if I told you it didn’t have to be so cumbersome!? It’s my opinion that this little nugget of information should be attached as a demonstration photo on every car seat instructional packet and advertised at every exit from the hospital, birth center or wherever one chooses to receive info on prepping for a kiddo.

Since many don’t know about this easier way to more comfortably haul their little one around, here it is…

The Easier Way to Pick Up & Carry a Car Seat

Next on the list is a simple little sticker. Simply placing a sticker on the side of your little’s car seat can make a HUGE difference in an emergency event. If, for some reason, a caretaker isn’t able to give basic information in the event of an accident, emergency personnel will have most everything they need to address any concerns with a little. If you’re looking for a quick DIY idea, simply use a Post It and packing tape to fix it to the car seat. VOILÀ, an instant waterproof and potentially life saving sticker!

Here’s what traditionally goes on an I.D. sticker:

Child’s Name
Child’s Birthdate
Home Address
Primary Caretaker Names and Phone Numbers
Emergency Contact 1 - Primary Phone and Alternate Number
Emergency Contact 2- Primary Phone and Alternate Number
Allergies, Medical Conditions and/or Medications
Primary Physician Information
