Ensuring Quality Care - Why BCR is an Out-Of-Network Provider

Balance Chiro and Rehab (BCR) was designed with the intent for each and every patient to receive an individualized evaluation, treatment, and recommendation plan specific their goals and concerns. The self-pay model allows BCR to operate with this standard of care rather than determining treatment options through what insurance will or will not cover.

Dr. Dani worked in multiple settings where insurance was the primary source of payment and witnessed first hand just how much insurance can dictate and change the quality of care for an individual. Now, is BCR saying health insurance is horrible? Absolutely not! There is a time and a place for everything. However, when it comes to bodywork and health CARE/prevention, there's just so much more that can be done without restrictions on treatment time or treatment itself.

Here are a few reasons why being an out-of-network provider is beneficial:

  1. Personalized Care: When you choose an out-of-network provider, the trained healthcare provider is able to work with you to create a care plan specifically designed to address your goals and individual needs rather than what insurance decides they will cover.

  2. Extended Appointments: In-network offices typically feel pressured to see more patients and for shorter periods of time due to less than optimal re-imbursement rates. Being an out-of-network provider allows Dr. Dani the ability to offer longer sessions that aren’t restricted by how many minutes or services she can bill.

  3. Straight-Forward Pricing: Being out-of-network provides Dr. Dani with the ability to offer services without any unexpected additional charges or surprise fees. Every offered therapy and treatment option is included in the set price. No random bills or surprises here!

  4. HOME CARE: Insurance companies do not cover in-home care for chiropractic. Being an out-of-network provider allows Dr. Dani the ability to provide the invaluable option of convenience!

  5. Highest Quality Care: Insurance reimbursement rates are standardized and do not differ based on the quality or extent of a provider's training. Whether a provider has completed the basic required coursework or has pursued significant additional education, the reimbursement for services remains the same. Consequently, many out-of-network providers choose not to participate with insurance companies because their advanced training and specialized treatment approaches necessitate longer appointment times.

  6. Fewer Visits: Thanks to longer, more individualized visits, you won’t NEED to make multiple appointments a week or for months on end to see results. Improvements typically require fewer visits and are MUCH more spaced out thanks to home-care instructions.

Superbills are happily provided upon request for you to submit to insurance (for out-of-network benefits) and HSA and FSA cards are accepted!
